Teaching
When times are hard, and the weather cold, thinking of sunnier shores is as natural as the desire to curl up on the couch with a hot cocoa!
What if you are a teacher, or somebody working within the sphere of education? It’s certainly a sector with transferable skills – and pretty recession proof one would think.
There are opportunities for educators and support staff all over the globe; after all, there are very few places internationally without schools or other learning establishments.
Maybe your partner has been offered a post abroad, and you are worried about ‘leaving it all behind’?
Fears of language difficulties and cultural differences are unfounded. Working abroad for education professionals is an ideal opportunity to see the world, enjoy those cultures and nations and put your skills and experience to good use.
We came across an excellent blog from a teacher who currently works abroad. I’ll let her tell you in her latest post about the opportunities for teachers internationally. It’s really not as mysterious or complicated as you may think.
(Unless you are looking for mysterious and complicated, of course, and you can no doubt find that too!)
